In light of the national emergency due to the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19), courts and law enforcement agencies at every level of Government have taken extraordinary actions:

STATE OF NEW JERSEY

● The Chief Justice of the New Jersey Supreme Court has entered the Court’s Fifth Omnibus Order on Court Operations and Legal Practice. The Order ends the restrictions on the Office of Foreclosure so that it may now recommend foreclosure judgments or dispositive motions received on or after March 1, 2020. The Order extends the restrictions on other operations at least through July 12, including those on new jury trials and in-person Grand Jury selections and sessions. The Order allows remote Grand Jury
selection and sessions pursuant to the Pilot Program for Virtual Grand Juries. The Court warns that “in-person court operations will not resume in full for some time.”
